Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Manage and monitor acute and chronic wounds using evidence-based protocols.
- Perform wound debridement, apply advanced wound dressings, and utilize adjunctive therapies as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound prevention, treatment, and self-care.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practice standards in wound care.
- Provide consultative services for inpatient wound management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current and unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Board certification as an NP or PA-C.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in wound care, with strong knowledge of wound management principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
- Current BLS certification; advanced wound care certifications preferred but not required.
