Workday Training Developer - Summary
The Workday Training Developer is responsible for developing, refining, and delivering high-quality training materials for Workday modules. The role encompasses creating both digital and instructor-led training resources, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business processes, and empowering end users through effective educational content. This position is particularly suited for professionals with hands-on experience in Workday HCM, Workday Finance, or Workday Extend, and a passion for instructional design and technology-driven learning solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and develop Instructor-Led Training materials using PowerPoint and other instructional tools based on organizational needs.
- Create user-friendly Quick Reference Guides that provide clear, concise instructions for end users navigating Workday modules.
- Develop engaging eLearning content utilizing tools such as Articulate Storyline to facilitate self-paced learning and knowledge retention.
- Produce and edit training videos using screen capture software like Camtasia to demonstrate key system features and processes.
- Collaborate with functional and project teams to ensure that all training materials accurately reflect current system functionality and business processes.
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of training content and make improvements based on user feedback and system updates.
- Support the rollout of new Workday features and modules by developing timely and relevant training resources.
- Maintain organized documentation of all training materials for ongoing reference and compliance purposes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Workday Finance (FIN), or Workday Extend.
- Demonstrated ability to develop Instructor-Led Training (ILT) materials, particularly using PowerPoint.
- Proven experience in creating Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) that facilitate ease of use for end users.
- Proficiency with video capture and editing tools such as Camtasia to produce high-quality training videos.
