Workday HCM Functional Lead - Summary
The Workday HCM Functional Lead is responsible for leading the design, configuration, and continuous optimization of Workday solutions related to onboarding and workforce management. This position requires extensive experience with Workday HCM, particularly in onboarding and managing contingent or associated workforce groups. Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Workday HCM solutions, with a focus on onboarding and management of associated personnel.
- Oversee end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and production support for Workday Onboarding modules and related processes.
- Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to enhance the new hire experience and streamline pre-hire and onboarding workflows.
- Configure and maintain processes for various worker types, including contingent workers and contractors, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with both internal policies and external regulations, supporting audit activities and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Provide expert guidance on the Workday business process framework and security configuration to ensure data integrity and system security.
- Drive process improvements and leverage Workday functionality to maximize workforce operational efficiency.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday HCM, providing leadership and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ functional experience with Workday HCM, with demonstrated expertise in onboarding and management of contingent or associated workforce groups.
- Strong proficiency in Workday business process framework and security configuration.
- Proven success in leading implementations or major enhancements of Workday modules.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments.
