IDR is seeking a WordPress Developer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role focuses on leading technical development initiatives within the architecture, design, and construction industry, utilizing cutting-edge WordPress technologies. The company is committed to pioneering enterprise solutions through modern web platforms.
Position Overview for the WordPress Developer:
- Lead the technical development of a WordPress Multi-Site platform for a legacy system migration
- Build custom plugins and develop Gutenberg blocks to create an intuitive user interface
- Implement data migration strategies to support enterprise re-platforming initiatives
- Collaborate directly with solutions architects to ensure technical requirements are met
- Work with modern development tools, including React and AI-augmented development platforms
Requirements for the WordPress Developer:
- 5-7 years of WordPress development experience at a senior or expert level
- Expertise in WordPress multi-site architecture
- Experience developing Gutenberg blocks
- Proficiency in React, including understanding of components, hooks, and async/await
- Strong SQL skills with MySQL or MariaDB
- REST API integration experience
