This role involves conducting assessments, diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic OB-GYN conditions, performing preventive screenings, and carrying out office-based procedures. The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, prescribes medications, and educates patients on various aspects of women's health. Duties & Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute, chronic, and preventive OB-GYN conditions for women throughout the lifespan.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based care plans addressing specific patient needs.
- Perform clinical procedures, including well-woman exams, prenatal and postpartum care, pelvic exams, contraceptive management (such as IUD and Nexplanon insertions), STI screening and counseling, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, and cervical cancer screening.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care and ensure effective coordination of referrals, test results, and follow-up.
- Document clinical findings accurately and ensure compliance with clinical and organizational standards.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies within the scope of practice and established guidelines.
- Educate patients on women's health, disease prevention, reproductive health, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices through various communication methods.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review activities, and staff education programs to maintain high clinical standards.

- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the Family Health specialty, with a focus on women's health preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods; manual dexterity and visual acuity required; ability to lift or assist with up to 25 pounds.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care for women across all ages.
- Skilled in performing OB-GYN clinical procedures and managing complex cases collaboratively.
