Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) - Summary- Responds to emergency calls for water, fire, and mold damage in residential settings.
- Performs mitigation work, including water extraction, demolition, and debris removal.
- Operates commercial drying equipment and monitors drying progress.
- Documents restoration activities using digital tools for accuracy and transparency.
- Provides exceptional customer service and clear communication throughout mitigation projects.
- Respond promptly to emergency water, fire, and mold damage situations.
- Extract water, remove damaged materials (such as drywall, flooring, cabinets), and dispose of debris safely.
- Set up, monitor, and take down drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers.
- Take accurate moisture readings, map affected areas, and maintain detailed daily progress documentation.
