Wastewater Operator - SummaryAs a Wastewater Operator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of wastewater treatment systems. This includes monitoring process controls, collecting samples for analysis, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and documenting all activities to ensure strict regulatory compliance. Duties & Responsibilities- Monitor and control wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of treatment plant equipment and operational systems, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to support optimal facility performance and reliability.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret water and wastewater samples for quality assessment, adhering to established protocols.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions in coordination with team members to resolve process inefficiencies.
- Document operational data accurately and maintain comprehensive records for compliance and internal reporting.
- Prepare and submit reports for internal review and as required by regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
