We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Traffic Coordinator to support our client’s food manufacturing facility in Lancaster, PA. This full-time, long-term temporary role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations on the third shift. As a Warehouse Traffic Coordinator, you will act as the central point of communication and coordination for all traffic and logistical activities within the warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the daily logistical flow of the warehouse, ensuring seamless collaboration between warehouse associates and jockey drivers during the third shift.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse staff based on the outbound shipping schedule, ensuring all loading and delivery operations are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain close communication with the logistics supervisor and provide regular updates and reports to the warehouse manager to support operational goals.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues or operational challenges as they arise to ensure the smooth functioning of warehouse activities.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to the movement of goods, shipments, and daily operations, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Foster a collaborative environment by providing leadership, guidance, and motivation to team members throughout the third shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required. Additional education in supply chain management or a related field is preferred and may enhance your effectiveness in the role.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of experience within a logistics, shipping, or warehouse environment is preferred. Candidates with at least one year of administrative or office experience are encouraged to apply.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional working relationships within the warehouse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
