Warehouse Packager - Summary- Full-time Warehouse Packager position in Acworth, GA
- Responsible for packaging, inventory management, and shipment preparation
- Key role in supporting warehouse logistics and material handling
- Break down bundles of bar stock based on production needs and order requirements
- Package and prepare metal parts using wood crating, corrugated boxes, shrink wrap, and steel banding
- Unload inbound shipments and load outbound trucks, verifying materials against shipping documentation
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport and organize warehouse materials
- Stage materials for production teams to promote workflow efficiency
- Prepare, label, and organize materials for shipment in designated areas
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track and update inventory in real time
- Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and resolve misplaced material issues
- Receive, inspect, and store newly delivered materials with accurate documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and team members
