The Vulnerability Management Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing organizational cybersecurity by managing vulnerability identification and compliance scanning activities. As a Vulnerability Management Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure the security and compliance of client systems. As a Vulnerability Management Analyst, your main objective will be to configure, troubleshoot, and support the deployment of vulnerability scanners such as Tenable One, Nessus, and TenableSC. You will play a significant role in assisting with compliance benchmarks, reviewing scan results, and coordinating remediation efforts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role also involves supporting application scanning processes, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and collaborating closely with development, network, and security teams to ensure robust vulnerability management and accurate reporting. Vulnerability Management Analyst - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver direct support for vulnerability and compliance scanning processes.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy vulnerability scanners, ensuring optimal performance and coverage.
- Analyze and interpret scan results, identifying vulnerabilities and prioritizing remediation.
- Assist in applying compliance benchmarks and audit standards, such as CIS benchmarks.
- Coordinate with development, network, and security teams to resolve vulnerabilities and strengthen security posture.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to scanners, agents, and applications.
- Support application scanning and ensure proper integration with security tools.
- Utilize ticketing systems like ServiceNow to track and manage vulnerability remediation workflows.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Nessus, or similar platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including configuration and support of scanners, agents, and security tools.
- Solid understanding of security compliance frameworks, including CIS benchmarks and audit standards.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows command-line tools for managing and troubleshooting security issues.
- Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow to manage security incidents and remediation workflows.
