In this full-time, on-site role, you will play an integral part in supporting our travel staffing and locum tenens operations. Based in Oakland Park, FL, you’ll ensure seamless coordination among recruiters, healthcare facilities, and Vendor Management System (VMS) platforms, helping to maintain accuracy across contracts, assignments, and provider documentation.
As a VMS Coordinator, you will manage high-volume VMS submissions, distribute inbound job orders, support contract processes, and keep provider assignments running smoothly. VMS Coordinator - Summary
- Full-time, on-site position based in Oakland Park, FL.
- Key liaison between recruiters, credentialing teams, healthcare facilities, and VMS platforms.
- Supports daily recruiting and staffing operations for travel and locum tenens assignments.
- Ensures contract and assignment accuracy, documentation compliance, and workflow efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage all VMS platforms, ensuring timely distribution of new job orders to the appropriate recruiting teams.
- Upload, submit, and update candidate profiles within various VMS portals to keep assignment progress on track.
- Track assignment statuses, credentialing progress, and compliance updates to ensure all requirements are met.
- Liaise between recruiters, credentialing teams, facility partners, and leadership to facilitate smooth assignment transitions.
- Communicate urgent updates, missing information, and job changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with timecard reminders, credentialing follow-ups, assignment extensions, and provide general operational support.
- Support contract coordination by managing Provider Contract Letters (PCL) and Client Contract Letters (CCL), maintaining rate sheets, contract terms, and assignment details.
- Ensure all provider documentation is organized and stored according to company standards.
- Coordinate and prioritize job orders, redirecting VMS job requests as necessary to appropriate team members.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on VMS activity and help identify potential operational bottlenecks.
