The Vice President of Operations (VP of Operations) plays a critical leadership role in overseeing multiple large-scale laundry facilities, ensuring business growth, operational excellence, and optimal financial performance throughout the region. As a core member of the executive team, the VP of Operations partners closely with corporate leadership to align strategic objectives, maintain compliance with corporate policies, and guarantee the consistent delivery of high-quality service to customers. The VP of Operations is tasked with providing strategic direction and operational oversight to regional plant operations, ensuring that each facility achieves operational efficiency, maintains quality standards, and operates consistently according to company protocols. The role also involves developing and mentoring plant leadership teams, implementing succession planning strategies, and promoting professional growth among staff to maintain a robust management pipeline. Additionally, the VP of Operations is responsible for setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, safety, service delivery, and cost management, utilizing these metrics to guide continuous improvement initiatives.

The VP of Operations oversees fiscal performance for all facilities under their purview, managing revenue streams, controlling expenses, and executing budgeting and financial forecasting activities to ensure profitability and sustainability. This leader is also responsible for supporting the sales process, facilitating the successful onboarding of new accounts—particularly within healthcare and contract service environments—and maintaining strong customer relationships to support retention and contract renewals.

- Oversee fiscal performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit/loss management for each facility.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, support contract renewals, and address service concerns proactively.
- Support new account onboarding and successful ramp-up of new contracts, especially within hospital environments.
- Manage company assets, oversee maintenance programs, and ensure cost-effective plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with HR regulations, training, staffing, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Develop and execute operational objectives to enhance responsiveness and efficiency.
- Promote teamwork and cross-functional collaboration to advance company initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of senior management experience in laundry operations or a similar operational environment.
- Proven expertise in customer and contract-based service management.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and supporting sales processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proven leadership experience with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and flexibility.
- In-depth knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
