VFX Artist - Summary- Design and implement real-time visual effects for interactive entertainment projects
- Enhance gameplay experience through the creation of stylized and readable VFX
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align VFX with gameplay and visual goals
- Work in a fast-paced, R&D-driven environment focused on innovation and iteration
- Create high-quality, real-time VFX that improve combat readability, player feedback, and the moment-to-moment gameplay experience
- Collaborate with animators, designers, technical artists, and engineers to ensure that VFX align with gameplay intent and the overall visual style
- Rapidly concept, prototype, and implement VFX solutions, iterating based on feedback and technical requirements
- Maintain a balance between artistic quality and performance by optimizing effects for real-time production
- Document VFX workflows and support the establishment of standards for clarity and contrast in visual effects

- Minimum of 5 years' experience creating real-time VFX for games
- Proficiency with Unity, Unreal, or comparable real-time engine VFX tools
- Professional experience developing VFX for console or mobile gaming platforms
- Strong understanding of optimization techniques and best practices for real-time effects
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize visual hierarchy and maintain readability in complex gameplay environments
- Creative problem-solver with a strong artistic sense and technical proficiency
- Proven experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams
- Ability to iterate quickly and effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- Passionate about innovative visual storytelling and interactive entertainment
