Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- First-assist in vascular surgical cases in the operating room
- Conduct daily inpatient rounds, admissions, and discharges
- Perform patient consults and manage pre- and post-operative care
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, surgeons, and hospital staff
- Document patient progress and update medical records thoroughly
- Support continuity of care across ICU, stepdown, and surgical floors
- Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Physician Assistant Program accredited by ARC-PA
- Current Physician Assistant certification (PA-C)
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in vascular surgery required
- Valid and unrestricted state license as a Physician Assistant
- Demonstrated skills in operating room first-assist and perioperative care
