Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary- Serve as a key member of the vascular surgery team, supporting surgeons in clinical and surgical settings.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in both preoperative and postoperative environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best practices in vascular surgery are maintained.
- Work within a structured weekday schedule with no on-call obligations.
- Assist vascular surgeons during operating room procedures, providing expert intraoperative support.
- Conduct preoperative assessments and postoperative follow-ups for vascular surgery patients.
- Manage a daily clinic census of 12-16 patients, ensuring thorough evaluation, treatment, and documentation.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to vascular conditions.
- Coordinate patient care plans, including education, discharge planning, and follow-up appointments.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current with advancements in vascular surgery practice.
