This role requires board certification, current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, and a valid medical license (or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact). Experience with electronic medical record systems such as Epic and Dragon is essential for efficient documentation and workflow management. Vascular Surgeon (MD/DO) - Summary
- Deliver expert vascular surgical care in a hospital and clinic environment
- Engage in both inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic activities

- Participate in a rotating schedule for coverage, including call and holiday shifts
- Collaborate with a team of four APPs and fellow vascular surgeons

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up visits for vascular surgery patients
- Perform surgical procedures, including open and minimally invasive interventions in cath labs, hybrid ORs, vascular labs, and standard operating rooms
- Participate in week and weekend call coverage as part of a rotation (approximately 1:3, including occasional holiday call)
- Complete vascular testing reads and minor cosmetic procedures as assigned
- Document all patient encounters and procedures using EMR systems such as Epic and Dragon
- Collaborate with APPs and other clinical staff to deliver coordinated and efficient patient care
- Maintain high provider productivity, meeting or exceeding 90th percentile benchmarks for volume and quality measures
- Engage in proctoring activities and quality assurance processes, including the requirement to proctor five cases
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and medical best practices

Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with completion of an accredited vascular surgery fellowship
- Board certified in Vascular Surgery
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid state medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- Possession of or eligibility for a state-specific DEA registration
- Proficiency with Epic and Dragon EMR systems
- Commitment to high standards of clinical care and productivity
