UX Designer - Summary
- Play a central role in designing user-centric digital experiences across mobile and web platforms.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive product development.
- Utilize industry-standard tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping software.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of products, including smart home and IoT devices.
- Engage in all phases of the design process, from conceptualization to final implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research and develop detailed user personas to inform design decisions.
- Design effective user flows, information architectures, and wireframes to enhance usability.
- Create interactive prototypes for stakeholder review and user testing.
- Develop visually compelling and responsive UI designs that adhere to brand and accessibility standards.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility requirements and follow established design guidelines.
- Conduct usability testing, document user feedback, and iterate on designs based on findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support the launch of new products and maintain the UX of existing products, ensuring continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field, with an understanding of app and software development cycles.
- At least 3 years of experience in iOS, Android, and HTML app design.
- Minimum of 1 year of coding and development experience.
- Proficiency in Figma or comparable design tools.
- Strong technical and graphical web design skills.
- Familiarity with Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP).
- Competence in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Knowledge of design system methodologies such as Atomic Design.
- Experience with smart home, IoT, thermostats, or related technology products.
