Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented UX Analyst to join our remote team. As a UX Analyst, you will play a critical role in evaluating the user experience of web applications and ensuring that digital products meet high standards of usability, accessibility, and satisfaction. Working as part of a collaborative quality assurance team, you will assess user journeys, analyze information architecture, and provide feedback that drives the creation of intuitive and effective web applications for diverse users across North America.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive usability testing across a wide range of web applications, focusing on key user flows and core functionality to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Document user experience issues, such as navigation difficulties, unclear information hierarchy, or obstacles that may hinder the user's ability to complete tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to deliver strategic recommendations aimed at optimizing user journeys and enhancing overall satisfaction with the web application.
- Perform heuristic evaluations and cognitive walkthroughs, systematically assessing web applications against industry standards and established usability principles to uncover potential user pain points and design flaws.
- Generate detailed reports on a regular basis, summarizing UX observations, actionable insights, and suggestions for continuous improvement in web application usability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated analytical skills with a thorough understanding of user experience theory, usability heuristics, and web design best practices.
- Familiarity with remote work environments, including proficiency with collaboration and communication tools commonly used by distributed teams.
- Experience in UX review, usability testing, or product quality assurance for web applications is strongly preferred, with the ability to empathize with diverse users and advocate for their needs.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a computer capable of supporting multiple browser environments for comprehensive testing and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate user feedback and research findings into clear, actionable design solutions that support organizational goals.
