User Research Associate - Summary
- Collaborate closely with the Global Research Operations team to ensure the effective planning and execution of research studies.
- Assist with the design and setup of tests and surveys for playtests, maintaining alignment with research objectives.
- Moderate and observe usability studies and playtest sessions, ensuring accurate data collection and actionable insights.
- Compile, analyze, and support the creation of comprehensive research reports for internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate group discussions with players and contribute to the overall success of user testing events.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage the recruitment, scheduling, and logistics of research participants.
- Set up and monitor surveys using industry-standard software platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or Question Pro.
- Conduct playtests and usability sessions, collecting feedback that translates into product improvements.
- Support lead researchers by synthesizing playtest results and organizing findings into clear, actionable reports.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of test environments to maintain a smooth research process.
- Engage in group discussions with players to better understand user experience and gather qualitative insights.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in user research or facilitation of group discussions.
- Strong familiarity with gaming platforms, specifically with VALORANT or equivalent gaming systems.
- Proficiency in using survey platforms like Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or Question Pro.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in an in-person, team-based setting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to support research and reporting activities.
