In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality and usability of various digital platforms by evaluating user experiences, testing software functionality, and offering actionable feedback. As a User Experience Tester (UX Tester), your input will directly influence improvements to web and mobile applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction for a wide audience.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both web and mobile platforms to assess features and user interactions.
- Identify, document, and clearly communicate bugs, glitches, and areas for user experience improvement to the development team.
- Collaborate effectively with software engineers, designers, and other QA professionals to provide valuable insights and suggestions.
- Verify that software features perform effectively across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes to guarantee consistent user experiences.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing findings, user pain points, and recommendations for enhancements.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed test instructions and protocols.
- Experience working with remote collaboration tools and familiarity with different app ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, though not always required.
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable device (desktop, laptop, or mobile) for remote work.
