Usability Tester Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Usability Tester to join our remote Quality Assurance (QA) team on a full-time basis. As a Usability Tester, you will play a critical role in enhancing the user experience and functionality of our digital platforms. Working remotely, including from Austin, TX, you will collaborate with development teams to identify and communicate usability issues, helping to ensure that our applications and websites meet the highest quality standards for users nationwide.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability testing scenarios for both mobile and web applications to evaluate user experience and functionality.
- Identify, document, and clearly communicate software bugs, glitches, and user experience concerns encountered during testing.
- Work closely with cross-functional development teams to provide actionable feedback and assist in prioritizing improvements.
- Verify that all digital features function properly across various devices, operating systems, browsers, and screen sizes.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for enhancing usability and performance.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow structured instructions during testing processes.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote collaboration tools and a strong understanding of app and web ecosystems.
- Preferred prior experience in quality assurance, user testing, or related fields, demonstrating familiarity with usability evaluation techniques.
- Stable internet connection and regular access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device suitable for testing purposes.
