Usability Tester Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Usability Tester to join our quality assurance (QA) team in a remote, full-time capacity. Responsibilities- Conduct thorough usability testing scenarios on both mobile and web platforms to assess the overall user experience and identify areas for improvement.
- Carefully document software bugs, glitches, and user experience pain points, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team.
- Collaborate effectively with developers and other team members to communicate findings, ensuring all issues and suggestions are addressed promptly.
- Verify that software features are fully functional across various devices, browsers, and screen sizes, maintaining a consistent and high-quality user experience for all users.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on a daily or weekly basis, detailing testing results, identified issues, and recommendations for enhancement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow structured testing instructions.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote collaboration tools and familiarity with different app ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, usability testing, or a related discipline is preferred, though not required.
- Consistent access to a reliable internet connection, as well as a desktop, laptop, or mobile device suitable for testing purposes.
