Palm Health Resources is seeking a dedicated Urologist, MD for daytime inpatient coverage to support their multidisciplinary medical team. As a Urologist, MD (Inpatient), you will focus on providing urology consults for inpatients and emergency department (ED) admissions. The role involves performing a variety of emergent urological procedures, maintaining thorough medical documentation, and actively engaging with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. You will be responsible for managing cases that may include Foley catheter placements, ureteral stent placements, lithotripsy, and cystoscopy procedures, among other emergent interventions. No robotics procedures or overnight/weekend shifts are required, allowing for a consistent schedule and work-life balance.
The ideal candidate is Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology with an active or eligible Colorado medical license and a valid DEA certification. Prior experience in inpatient or hospital-based urology is highly valued, and all applicants should demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Urologist, MD (Inpatient) - Summary- Full-time inpatient urology role focusing on consults and emergent procedures
- Daytime schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekend or overnight coverage required
- Opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary hospital team
- Provide inpatient and emergency department urology consults, averaging 5-10 consults per day
- Perform emergent urologic procedures, including Foley catheter placements, ureteral stent placements, lithotripsy, and cystoscopy procedures
- Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation for all cases
- Participate in case discussions and care coordination with multidisciplinary staff
