Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary
- Role: Provide urgent care medical services to patients with acute illnesses and injuries
- Employment Type: Locum assignment

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions, minor injuries, and illnesses
- Perform urgent care procedures, including wound care, suturing, and splinting
- Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests as clinically indicated
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff for coordinated patient care
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Previous experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related clinical setting highly preferred
- Active Utah state license strongly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in urgent care procedures, including wound care and suturing
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment
