Urgent Care Physician - Summary- Full-time position in a busy, multi-location urgent care practice

- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients presenting with a diverse range of urgent and non-emergency medical conditions
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with other physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient care and clinical outcomes
- Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
- Support the urgent care center in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and efficient clinical environment

- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Active and unrestricted state medical license (or eligibility to obtain such license)
- Current DEA registration
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Strong clinical competence in urgent care or acute care settings preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
