Joining our dynamic medical team, you will work alongside 10 other physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs), including both full-time and part-time professionals. Urgent Care Physician - Summary- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy urgent care clinic setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff
- Support the mission of a not-for-profit healthcare system dedicated to clinical excellence and community health

- Evaluate and manage patients presenting with a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory studies, as appropriate for urgent care
- Perform minor procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, and wound care
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the clinical team to ensure coordinated care
- Document patient encounters and treatment accurately in the electronic medical record
- Refer patients to specialty care or emergency services as clinically indicated
- Educate patients on preventive health measures and self-care for minor conditions
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine preferred
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice
- Current DEA registration
- Demonstrated clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care settings
- Strong diagnostic and procedural skills applicable to urgent care medicine
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate and patient-focused, with a commitment to delivering high-quality urgent care services
- Resourceful and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
