There is no credentialing required for this role, allowing you to get started quickly and efficiently in providing essential urgent care services to the local community.
The urgent care setting is fast-paced, with an average of 25 to 40 patients per shift. You will encounter a broad patient demographic and be responsible for a full scope of urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, x-ray interpretation, and other emergency interventions as appropriate for an NP or PA. Familiarity with Epic EMR and Dragon dictation is a plus, as certain locations utilize this technology to streamline documentation and enhance the provider experience.
For this contract Urgent Care NP or PA position, active New Jersey CDS and DEA licenses are required, along with proven experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings. Providers with level 3 trauma experience are especially encouraged to apply, as your advanced skills will be highly valued in this high-volume, diverse clinical environment.
