UI Tester Job OverviewWe are actively seeking a detail-oriented UI Tester to join our remote team on a full-time basis. As a UI Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the visual quality and functionality of web application user interfaces. You will partner closely with UI/UX designers and front-end developers, evaluating the aesthetic consistency, interactive elements, and overall user experience across a range of browsers and devices. Your keen attention to detail will help maintain high standards for branding and usability, supporting the delivery of seamless and visually appealing web applications.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive visual and functional reviews of web application user interfaces, ensuring all elements meet established design standards.
- Identify and document discrepancies in branding, typography, color schemes, and the placement of UI components across various platforms.
- Collaborate with design and development teams by providing constructive feedback to achieve pixel-perfect and responsive designs.
- Test the functionality and responsiveness of interactive components, including buttons, forms, navigation menus, and other user interface elements.
- Generate thorough daily or weekly reports outlining observations, detected issues, and recommendations for UI improvements.
- Strong attention to visual detail and a comprehensive understanding of web UI design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools and navigating multiple web browsers and screen resolutions.
- Previous experience in UI testing, graphic design, or visual quality assurance for web applications is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer equipped with relevant browser tools and testing utilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design flaws clearly and suggest targeted visual improvements.
