UI Tester Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated UI Tester to join our remote Quality Assurance (QA) team. As a UI Tester, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the visual design, layout, and interactive elements of web application user interfaces. This position is focused on ensuring a consistent, intuitive, and responsive user experience across multiple browsers and devices. The UI Tester is responsible for providing actionable feedback to UI/UX designers and front-end developers, helping to maintain high standards of design and usability for web applications.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough visual and interactive reviews of web application user interfaces to ensure alignment with branding guidelines and style consistency.
- Identify and document inconsistencies in typography, color schemes, component placement, and overall visual coherence.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and front-end developers by offering constructive, actionable feedback that supports pixel-perfect and responsive designs.
- Test and verify the functionality and responsiveness of all interactive UI elements, including buttons, forms, navigational menus, and dynamic content.
- Create and submit comprehensive reports on UI observations and recommendations, ensuring all findings are clearly communicated to relevant team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UI design principles, best practices, and trends in web application development.
- Utilize a variety of browsers, devices, and screen resolutions to ensure compatibility and optimal user experience across platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of web UI design principles and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using remote working tools and the ability to navigate multiple web browsers and screen resolutions with ease.
- Experience in UI testing, graphic design, or visual quality assurance for web applications is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer equipped with necessary browser tools for testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design flaws and provide precise suggestions for visual improvements.
