UAT Tester – Medicaid, Jira Summary
- Support Medicaid project user acceptance testing in a government healthcare setting.
- Manage and maintain issue tracking and project data with Jira.
- Generate, analyze, and report on Jira data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders for effective UAT execution.
- Drive quality and compliance across all phases of UAT within Medicaid IT initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee project data and issue tracking in Jira, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Create and analyze Jira reports to identify actionable insights, trends, and gaps in testing and quality assurance.
- Support defect management through detailed documentation, tracking, and resolution coordination with development teams.
- Execute client-approved UAT test scripts and comprehensively document results for ongoing quality assurance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth user acceptance testing and efficient issue resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, assist in process improvement initiatives, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to compliance standards and project requirements throughout all UAT activities.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Jira, including project setup, configuration, administration, and reporting.
- Proficiency in generating Jira dashboards and reports, interpreting testing metrics, and providing actionable insights.
- Proven experience in defect management, including ticket creation, documentation, and coordination of resolution efforts.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems is preferred; experience on Medicaid or government healthcare projects is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of user acceptance testing processes, regression testing, and test result documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
