The UAT Analyst plays a critical role in supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) for complex offender management systems within government agencies. UAT Analyst - Summary
- Supports user acceptance testing activities for offender management systems within a government agency environment.
- Acts as a liaison between state agencies, IT partners, and system integrators to coordinate and facilitate UAT processes.
- Maintains UAT planning artifacts, updates test plans, and supports defect management and reporting activities.
- Leverages experience with Mi-Case and defect tracking tools for comprehensive quality assurance support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate overall UAT efforts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders involved in testing.
- Maintain and update UAT documentation, including the master UAT Test Plan and Work Plan, to track progress and identify readiness tasks.
- Manage the defect management process, including scheduling and leading triage meetings, tracking defect lifecycles, and accurately documenting issues.
- Prepare and distribute UAT reporting materials such as status reports on testing progress, defect trends, and project risks.
- Develop and implement templates, frameworks, and guidance documents to support client enablement and knowledge transfer initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to drive the successful completion of UAT activities and ensure high-quality system implementation.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in business analysis, software testing, or quality assurance related to system implementation projects.
- Direct, hands-on experience with Mi-Case offender management system is required.
- Proven track record supporting or coordinating user acceptance testing for large-scale technology projects.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or SpiraTest.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams and manage stakeholder communications effectively.
