Job Title:Traveling Quality Inspector
Shift:5:30 AM 2:00 PM Monday - Friday
Pay Rate:$18.00 DOE.
Position Overview:
The Traveling Quality Inspector ensures products meet quality standards by performing inspections and audits at customer sites. This role requires flexibility to travel varying distances based on customer needs.
Travel:
- Travel may range from 10 minutes to 2 hours away
- Travel occurs during scheduled work hours
- Mileage reimbursed at$0.725 per mile
- Rental vehicle, hotel, and gas will be provided for extended travel longer than 2 hours if approved
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and audit materials using hand tools and visual techniques
- Identify and contain non-conforming parts
- Perform rework such as grinding, drilling, sanding, and assembly
- Read basic blueprints and use measuring tools
- Represent the company professionally at customer sites
Hiring Details:
- High School Diploma required
- Background and Drug test Required
- Basic knowledge of quality control and production processes
- Ability to use basic hand tools
