We are currently seeking a dedicated Trauma Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our expanding team at a newly established Level 1 Trauma Center. This full-time opportunity is designed for a skilled Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering expert trauma and critical care to patients in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment. The Trauma Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends, with the greatest need during night and weekend shifts. As a Trauma Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will play an essential role in our trauma bays, resuscitation suite, and surgical intensive care unit (SICU), utilizing advanced monitoring, imaging, and life support technologies to provide the highest standard of care.
This role does not require operating room responsibilities, focusing exclusively on floor-based trauma and critical care. The successful candidate will benefit from paid travel, lodging, rental car, and malpractice insurance coverage. Trauma Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive trauma and critical care to patients in the trauma bays, resuscitation suite, and SICU
- Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Utilize advanced monitoring, imaging, and life support technologies to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document all patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance trauma care delivery
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Respond to trauma alerts and provide immediate intervention as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Experience in trauma, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
