Technical Solutions Architect Position Overview
ARC Group is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect for a remote, US-based W2 contract position. The Technical Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in leading the technical implementation of Ivalua, facilitating seamless integration with a range of existing enterprise systems, including ERP, 3rd Party Risk Management, and catalog systems. As a member of the ARC Group team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that align with business and IT objectives. This is a full-time, remote opportunity designed for experienced IT professionals who are passionate about architecting robust technical solutions in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end technical implementation of Ivalua, ensuring successful integration with existing enterprise platforms such as ERP, 3rd Party Risk Management, and catalog systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather technical and functional requirements, designing and developing solutions that address business needs and objectives.
- Work closely with project managers to create and execute comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, milestone tracking, and resource allocation.
- Manage, mentor, and guide a team of IT professionals—including developers, analysts, and testers—throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Oversee data migration, ensuring data quality and governance protocols are followed during implementation.
- Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation, including system architecture, design blueprints, and configuration guides.
- Coordinate with the Ivalua vendor team to ensure smooth implementation, resolve technical issues, and facilitate the alignment of vendor resources with project goals.
- Design and execute comprehensive testing plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure solution reliability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise IT standards, security policies, and applicable regulatory requirements throughout the project.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, including procurement teams and other relevant stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor contracts, ensuring effective and efficient utilization of resources.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors, business leaders, and IT management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity managing large-scale IT projects.
- Proven experience implementing cloud-based procurement or spend management systems, with preference for candidates with Ivalua expertise.
- Strong technical background in ERP systems such as Peoplesoft, Oracle, and SAP, as well as experience with 3rd Party Risk Management platforms like Archer and catalog systems.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of guiding cross-functional teams to successful project outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience resolving complex technical challenges.
- Expertise in data migration, data quality assurance, and data governance procedures.
- Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools, including Power BI, SSRS, and SSAS.
- Proficiency in code development using the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Direct experience with Ivalua implementation and configuration.
- Understanding of procurement processes and spend management best practices.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as Jenkins and Docker.
- Relevant certifications in cloud security (e.g., CCSK) or compliance (e.g., CISA).
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Data Factory, and Data Lake.
