Technical Lead – ERP Systems (CAPPS, PeopleSoft) Summary
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise ERP systems, with a focus on CAPPS and PeopleSoft platforms.
- Ensure system compliance with development lifecycle standards and accessibility requirements.
- Collaborate across teams to drive system performance, security, and ongoing modernization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, delivering strategic advisory and hands-on technical support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical activities related to the CAPPS Program, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
- Oversee functional and technical design reviews, analyze business processes, and validate system architectures.
- Manage and coordinate system testing, accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1), waiver tracking, and digital security protocols.
- Support system deployments, perform maintenance, and document ongoing compliance and technical activities.
- Participate in technical documentation creation and system reviews to maintain system integrity and compliance.
- Act as a technical resource for complex system analysis, infrastructure enhancements, and vendor management.
- Facilitate cross-functional communications, prepare executive-level presentations, and contribute to strategic roadmap planning.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Extensive experience supporting or working within public sector agencies, particularly within Texas state government.
- Significant technical expertise supporting CPA application systems and enterprise financial platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage strategic roadmaps through effective cross-functional communication.
- Proven experience preparing and conducting executive-level presentations.
- Technical proficiency in PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM 9.2, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL, and Oracle 11 or higher.
