The Technical Curriculum Developer – Security plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering advanced security-related training content for a leading technology platform. As part of a dynamic Technical Training Team, this position is responsible for producing a comprehensive suite of learning materials tailored to diverse audiences, including customers and partners, to ensure they are equipped to successfully deploy and utilize the company’s platform. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an individual with a strong background in instructional design and a passion for creating engaging, effective educational experiences in the field of security operations.

Operating in a fast-paced environment, the Technical Curriculum Developer – Security collaborates closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to generate a wide range of training resources across multiple media formats. These materials include written documentation, video tutorials, interactive modules, and job aids, supporting both self-paced learners and participants in live or virtual instructor-led sessions. The goal is to empower learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to operate cutting-edge security technologies effectively and securely.

This role requires a deep understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and eLearning authoring tools. The Technical Curriculum Developer – Security is also expected to provide thought leadership throughout the education development process, influence the direction of training initiatives, and ensure all content is current, accurate, and aligned with organizational goals. Key responsibilities include the creation of real-world use case scenarios, guided lab exercises, and robust assessments to measure learner progress and mastery.

Collaboration is essential, as the Technical Curriculum Developer – Security partners with internal and external teams to gather insights, validate technical accuracy, and ensure training resources address the evolving needs of the user base. The ability to design visually engaging and accessible materials using graphics, templates, and multimedia assets is crucial for optimizing learner engagement and retention. Proficiency with leading authoring and design tools, such as Articulate 360, Captivate, Rise, SnagIt, Camtasia, and ScreenFlow, is required, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
