Technical Business Analyst - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply deep technical expertise to interpret business needs and produce detailed data engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with Technical Product Owners, Product Managers, Data Engineering, and Business Stakeholders to ensure alignment of business and technical requirements.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, data/process flow diagrams, and technical requirements.
- Analyze and interpret in-house and third-party software solutions for seamless integration and deployment of new technologies.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of application data, functionality, and business workflows within assigned product families.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, refinement, release planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Lead triage and resolution of incoming production support requests.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on software development experience (7+ years).
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience authoring user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation in an Agile environment.
- Strong expertise in relational databases, API design, and architecture.
- Experience designing or developing healthcare interoperability solutions (EDI or HL7 standards).
- Proficiency with tools such as Postman or Swagger for API interactions.
- Advanced T-SQL skills for querying database objects.
- Strong skills in JIRA and Confluence for project and documentation management.
- Experience with tools such as Lucid, Visio, or Miro for creating process and data flow diagrams.
- Working knowledge of Figma for reviewing UI designs.
- Advanced proficiency with O365 tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional team collaboration, active listening, and communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities with a drive for innovation.
