As a Tax Manager, CPA, you will play a pivotal role in managing and reviewing ASC 740 income tax provisions and overseeing corporate tax compliance for federal, state, and local filings. Tax Manager, CPA – Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and review ASC 740 income tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations, uncertain tax positions, and related disclosures
- Oversee and review corporate tax compliance for federal, state, and local income tax filings
- Research and interpret U.S. GAAP and corporate income tax law to support compliance, planning, and financial reporting
- Provide technical tax guidance to clients and internal teams on complex tax matters
- Assist with tax planning strategies and support clients through audits and regulatory inquiries as needed
- Mentor and develop junior staff, reviewing work and ensuring quality and compliance with firm standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive experience in tax compliance and/or tax consulting
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 740 – Accounting for Income Taxes
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and corporate income tax laws and regulations
- Experience with state and local income taxes (SALT)
- Exposure to international taxation and transfer pricing preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
