The Tax Manager CPA will oversee the review of tax returns prepared by staff and senior accountants, focusing on S-Corp and C-Corp filings, and occasionally handling high-net-worth individual returns. Tax Manager CPA - Summary
- Full-time leadership role within a reputable CPA firm
- Primarily remote with occasional onsite collaboration as needed
- Focus on reviewing and preparing S-Corp, C-Corp, and high-net-worth individual tax returns
- Play a pivotal role in tax compliance, accuracy, and strategic tax planning
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review corporate and individual tax returns prepared by staff and senior accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations
- Approve finalized tax filings for both S-Corp and C-Corp entities, as well as high-net-worth individuals
- Conduct year-end accrual reviews and prepare necessary tax provisions
- Review and prepare various personal property tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission
- Oversee submission of additional filings including annual reports, intangible tax, and sales & use tax returns
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients to address tax-related inquiries and provide strategic advice
- Utilize tax software such as FastTrack and the Microsoft Office Suite to efficiently manage workflow and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of public accounting experience, specifically in tax-related functions
- At least 3 years of experience reviewing individual and corporate tax returns
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or closely related field required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and tax software such as FastTrack or equivalent
- Permanent work authorization required; sponsorship is not available for this role
- This position is not eligible for C2C arrangements
