Tax Intake Specialist - Summary- Serve as the initial point of contact for individuals and businesses seeking tax resolution services
- Qualify leads and gather detailed information to support tax advocacy efforts
- Support the internal team by efficiently moving cases forward
- Promote positive, empathetic client experiences in every interaction
- Respond professionally to inbound phone inquiries, providing a welcoming first impression
- Assess caller needs and determine qualification as prospective clients
- Manage and follow up on leads generated through web submissions and after-hours inquiries
- Work from call queues, meeting or exceeding daily and weekly performance expectations
- Prioritize outreach efforts in accordance with the company’s lead engagement strategy
- Conduct concise, scripted interviews to evaluate client eligibility and needs
- Maintain control of conversations while establishing rapport and trust with clients
- Transition qualified leads to the Tax Advocacy team for further engagement and resolution
- Redirect non-qualifying inquiries to appropriate internal contacts
- Accurately document conversations and update client records in the CRM system
- Perform additional administrative or client service tasks as directed by management
