Key Responsibilities- Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulatory changes to accurately interpret and implement tax requirements.
- Assist in tax planning and the development of strategies aimed at optimizing tax liabilities and enhancing financial efficiency.
- Analyze financial data and transactions to identify potential tax implications and provide actionable recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with various internal departments and external advisors to address tax-related issues and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation to support tax filings, audits, and compliance initiatives.
- Stay current with updates in tax laws and regulations, proactively adapting company strategies as needed to remain compliant.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in corporate tax accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- CPA certification is preferred, though not required.
