Systems Integration Technician
The Systems Integration Technician plays a vital role in the engineering department, reporting directly to the Electrical Engineering Manager. This position is instrumental in supporting the design, assembly, and testing of complex electrical systems. As part of a dedicated engineering team, the Systems Integration Technician is responsible for executing all phases of design, fabrication, and integration for a variety of electronic and electrical components, with a particular emphasis on analog and digital circuit design, microprocessor and micro-controller applications, and system integration. As a Systems Integration Technician, you will be a key contributor to engineering projects, focusing on the assembly, wiring, and integration of systems and components. Systems Integration Technician - Summary
- Integral member of the engineering team, specializing in systems integration, electrical design, and assembly
- Reports directly to the Electrical Engineering Manager

Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of electrical system design throughout the engineering process
- Perform detailed design work, including system and harness design, and circuit board layout
- Engage in hands-on assembly, electrical wiring, connector installation, cabling, and harnessing
- Support the fabrication and testing of digital and analog circuits for various system platforms
- Coordinate project phases, ensuring thorough follow-through from initiation to completion
- Research and address component obsolescence, proposing suitable alternatives where necessary
- Utilize knowledge of digital and analog electronics theory in practical applications
- Leverage experience with design tools such as Orcad Schematic Capture, FPGA development, and AutoCAD
- Apply familiarity with microprocessor/micro-controller based designs and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) product applications
- Maintain clear and professional written and verbal communication with internal teams and external clients
- Present technical information effectively in one-on-one and group settings

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in analog, digital, and microprocessor/micro-controller application circuit design, preferably in the aerospace sector
- Experience with Orcad Schematic Capture, FPGA design/development; AutoCAD proficiency is a plus
- Working knowledge of digital and analog electronics theory and applications
- Background in microprocessor/micro-controller based design and COTS product integration
- Analog design skills with filters, signal conditioning, A/D and D/A circuits preferred
- Digital design experience using CPLD and FPGA with VERILOG preferred
- Understanding of high-voltage power supply applications is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
