Systems Integration Engineer (BAS, HVAC) - Summary
- Lead and manage complex integration projects for building automation, HVAC, electrical, and related systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute large-scale, multi-system integration projects, ensuring project goals are met and systems operate seamlessly.
- Provide advanced technical expertise for system troubleshooting, logic development, and system optimization for building automation and HVAC systems.
- Act as a technical consultant, delivering strategic guidance to stakeholders and ensuring the successful integration of low-voltage sub-systems using industry protocols such as BACnet, LON, SLC, TCP/IP, RS-485, and more.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittal information to inform integration strategies and solution design.
- Mentor and support the technical development of less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Ensure compatibility and functionality of software and hardware systems, including device commissioning and network configuration.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications and handheld devices to document processes, communicate with stakeholders, and maintain project records.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology preferred.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in building automation systems (BAS), HVAC, electrical, or related technical fields preferred.
- Expertise in the construction or HVAC industry, control theory, automatic temperature controls, and building automation systems.
- Mastery of system integration for low-voltage sub-systems using BACnet, LON, SLC, TCP/IP, RS-485, or similar protocols.
- Advanced skills in system troubleshooting, logic development, system optimization, and network device configuration.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and mobile technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with customers and internal teams.
