Systems Administrator - Summary
- Support the migration and modernization of legacy Windows and Red Hat Linux platforms as a Systems Administrator.
- Ensure the security, performance, and operational continuity of IT systems through diligent maintenance and upgrades.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement improvements and modernization initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the migration and upgrade of end-of-life systems, including Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Upgrade systems to supported operating system versions to enhance security and performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure operational continuity.
- Provide technical support for both Windows Server and RHEL environments, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to plan and implement system modernization projects.
- Document processes, procedures, and configurations to support long-term system integrity.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting and administering RHEL and Windows operating systems.
- Proven expertise in Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 environments.
- Extensive experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9.
- Demonstrated ability to support legacy systems and execute complex OS upgrades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with other IT professionals.
