SWIFT Infrastructure Engineer - Summary- Full-time role focusing on engineering, supporting, and optimizing SWIFT infrastructure and related IT platforms.

- Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components, ensuring reliability and scalability of SWIFT environments.
- Analyze end-to-end performance across IT platforms and proactively address performance or capacity bottlenecks.
- Draft, implement, and maintain comprehensive policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent infrastructure management.
- Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions, utilizing industry-standard monitoring tools.
- Support SWIFT products, including Alliance Cloud, Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, and Alliance Web Platform, alongside related components such as HSM and Alliance Connect.
- Determine root causes of operating errors, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve incident response protocols.
- Engage in coding, debugging, and utilizing programming languages relevant to SWIFT infrastructure, such as Python and SQL.
- Collaborate within agile frameworks, participating in sprints, standups, and cross-functional team discussions.

- Permanent US work authorization is required for this SWIFT Infrastructure Engineer position.
- Minimum 2 years of experience engineering Linux and Unix systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud technologies and cloud computing, especially migrating on-premise infrastructure to cloud environments.
- Experience with middleware/messaging products such as IBM MQ, Amazon SQS/SNS.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Familiarity with engineering SWIFT technologies and infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Python programming, REST API development, and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools such as SQL, Excel, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, and XML.
- Technically adept and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving in SWIFT infrastructure environments.
- Strong collaborative skills and a commitment to supporting team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
