Surgical Technologist (CST) - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for all surgical procedures
- Ensure all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available and organized
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sponges, and supplies, and anticipating the needs of the team
- Conduct accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments before, during, and after procedures per facility protocols
- Clean, sterilize, and properly handle all surgical equipment according to established safety standards
- Participate in regular on-call and call-back shifts as required
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety policies
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow

Qualifications & Requirements
