Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes.
- Ensure all necessary supplies and instruments are available and functioning properly for scheduled procedures.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations by handing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and performing critical support tasks.
- Monitor and account for surgical instruments throughout procedures to maintain patient safety.
- Handle specimens for laboratory analysis and document operative details as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating environment throughout and after procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of advanced surgical technology, such as the Da Vinci Xi robotic system, where applicable.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training is required.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from the Association of Surgical Technologists or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED, homeschool equivalency, or post-secondary education).
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly the Da Vinci Xi platform, is preferred.
- One year of experience is preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
