In this key role, the Surgical Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA-C) will serve as first assist in a range of surgical procedures, with a primary focus on gynecologic and general surgery cases, while also supporting other surgical subspecialties as needed. Your responsibilities will include preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative management, ensuring comprehensive continuity of care for patients before, during, and after surgery. You will round on inpatients, conduct surgical consults within the Emergency Department and on hospital floors, and serve as a clinical resource and advocate for patients and their families.

Surgical Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Summary- Full-time advanced practice provider role supporting surgical teams
- Primary responsibilities in gynecologic and general surgery with opportunities in other subspecialties
- Participation in perioperative care, surgical rounding, and consults
- Collaborative, patient-centered hospital employment
- First assist in gynecologic, general, and additional surgical specialty procedures
- Conduct preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care
- Round on inpatients to monitor recovery and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Perform surgical consultations in the Emergency Department and on hospital floors
- Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
