Supply Chain Application Support Specialist - Summary
As a Supply Chain Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering steady-state support for supply chain software systems, with a strong emphasis on system stability, data security, and continuous improvement. You will leverage extensive experience with platforms such as PeopleSoft MMIS and GHX to manage application integrations, upgrades, and enhancements. By analyzing supply chain processes, you will identify opportunities for automation and recommend process improvements, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of supply chain technology best practices. Your expertise will contribute to the delivery of accurate and actionable reports for informed decision-making, while also supporting and training end users to maximize their effectiveness with the systems in place.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for supply chain applications, ensuring operational stability and data integrity.
- Lead integration projects, system testing, and the implementation of upgrades and enhancements to supply chain software systems.
- Develop and maintain user documentation, and deliver training sessions to assist departmental staff with system-related issues.
- Manage procurement system databases, optimizing performance and generating detailed reports for supply chain decision-makers.
- Analyze and assess supply chain processes to identify automation opportunities and suggest process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support the seamless operation of enterprise resource planning systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to data security protocols and best practices in all aspects of supply chain systems management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with supply chain systems or in a related field, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Proven expertise with PeopleSoft MMIS and GHX platforms, including system support and integration experience.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and synthesize data from multiple sources for reporting and process improvement.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a preference for PeopleSoft proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop user documentation and deliver targeted training to end users.
