- Lead supplier audits, root cause analyses, and corrective action initiatives.
- Support reliability and performance of flight-critical aerospace parts.
- Drive continuous improvement and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Conduct supplier audits for compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and related aerospace standards.
- Identify non-conformances and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) projects.
- Review and approve First Article Inspections (FAI), ensuring process validation and resolving deviations.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, such as defect rates and delivery timeliness, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Qualify new suppliers through thorough assessments, risk identification, and verification of corrective actions before approval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supplier quality issues and ensure closure of action items.
- Review and validate supplier-submitted documentation, including PPAPs and control plans.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts by analyzing recurring quality issues and implementing sustainable solutions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial preferred).
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is highly desirable.
- 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality within aerospace or a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA/EASA regulations.
- Proficiency with quality tools: Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and SPC.
- Experience in supplier audits, First Article Inspection (FAI), and CAPA systems.
- Familiarity with GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to travel to supplier sites as required.
- Experienced in aerospace supplier quality and compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to drive corrective action to closure.
- Strong communicator with ability to present findings and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficient in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and supplier performance management.
